I was reunited with Scott and we checked in to our hotel room. (Side note: the hotel was gorgeous and our room was among the best I've ever stayed in). We even received Kelly & Matthew wine at check-in. Beautiful AND delicious!
After a quick-change at the hotel, the bridal party gathered and boarded the Guest Shuttle which took us from the hotel to the church (and then afterward, took us to the rehearsal dinner and finally back to the hotel).
The bus was stocked with cold beer and water and the cutest koozies. The sign said "to have and to hold, and to keep your drink cold".
I loved riding the shuttle with some of my favorite people:
The rehearsal went off without a hitch. All of the key Wedding Mass people were there - the bride and groom, the parents of the bride and groom, the bridal party, the readers, gift bearers, and the world's cutest ring bearer and flower girl. Check out the shirt that the ring bearer was wearing (below). Could it get any cuter?
It was a nice way to practice the Wedding Mass, and calm any pre-ceremony jitters before the big day. (Which, obviously, is the whole point of a wedding rehearsal).
After the rehearsal, we got back on the Guest Shuttle (which I inadvertantly kept thinking of as the "party shuttle"), cracked open a cold beer, and made our way across town to the rehearsal dinner venue. The tunes were cranking, and it was a party on wheels.
Next: rehearsal dinner!
