I can't tell you how many times I've reminded myself of this quotation over the past few weeks. Sometimes when I'm doing cardio I get embarrassed by my heavy breathing, but I'm done with that. The heavy breathing just means that I'm working hard. Scott and I are running in tomorrow's Shamrock Shuffle 8K, and while 5 miles isn't a marathon, it's certainly more than I'm used to running in one go.
My goals for the race:
1) Not die
2) Not kill Scott when he tells me we can't stop running
3) Finish the race
Not super high standards, but I believe in being realistic. If you have any suggestions for my race playlist, holler.
