The Year of the Kate: A recap

Twenty six was the best year of my life.

(So far).

I got married to the best guy for me (which changed everything). We bought (and began renovations on) our first place. I advanced in my career. I had the honeymoon of my dreams.

I also witnessed some great loves make it official, and hung out with many amazing people.

I may not have memorized the Constitutional Amendments (whoops) or quit Diet Cook (sorry Mom) or a few other things... but I'm still calling this a phenomenal year.

I read books, took walks, savored the moment, watched the Bears (lose, mostly), went to Cubs games, took boot camp, thought about things that matter, and things that don't, stood firm and changed my mind, savored every single part of being engaged, hosted Thanksgiving, loved my family, contemplated, planned, appreciated, danced, and LIVED.

27... bring it!
